Active Transportation Advisory Committee

The Committee operates in an advisory role to the City Council and Planning Commission, focusing its efforts on the support of the City General Plan Circulation Element, the priorities set forth by the City Council, and regional active transportation initiatives.

Lady of Guadalupe Procession

December 12, 2025

The procession will begin on foot at Calistoga High School. Participants will travel west along Lake Street, then head south on Fairway Drive to Lincoln Avenue. The route will continue west on Lincoln Avenue and then south on Washington Street, concluding at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 901 Washington Street.

Calistoga Farmers' Market

The Calistoga Farmers’ Market (CFM) is managed, operated, and controlled by a Market Advisory Committee under the umbrella of the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce. The mission is to build a stronger sense of community by providing an informal meeting place where people from all walks of life interact.

Housing Advisory Committee

December 15, 2025

This Committee functions in an advisory capacity to both the City Council and the Planning Commission, dedicating its efforts to supporting the City General Plan Housing Element and the housing priorities articulated by the City Council. Takes place the third Monday of each month at 12PM, Calistoga Community Center.

Planning Commission Meeting 5:30 PM

January 14, 2026

The Planning Commission is a separate and distinct body appointed by the City Council, charged with the implementation of the City's General Plan, the City's zoning ordinance, land use policies, and other duties as prescribed by law or the Council. Comprising five members from the community, the Commission's primary responsibility is to evaluate the implications of land use decisions on the City.

On Thursday 12/11/2025, the Calistoga Police Department and allied agencies will conduct a driving under the influence (DUI)/ Drivers License Checkpoint from 6PM to 1AM at an undisclosed location in the City of Calistoga.

Vine Trail Closure 12/15-12/18

The Vine Trail will be closed from Dunaweal to Tedeschi from December 15–18, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., to remove hazardous oak trees affected by beetles. Detours will be posted. Thank you for your patience as we work to maintain a safe and beautiful trail.

Calistoga Fire Department to Conduct Pile Burning on Mt. Washington

The Calistoga Fire Department will conduct intermittent pile burns on Mt. Washington over the next several months to reduce hazardous vegetation and lower wildfire risk. Residents may see smoke during operations, which will occur only under safe weather and air quality conditions
